I’ve been a doula in the St. Louis area for close to a decade now. I’ve taken three separate certification courses, and have built a strong network of birth colleagues. It can feel scary as a new doula to lean into your intuition, wisdom and power. Being a newcomer to a birth space might feel daunting, but typically things that feel scary are a lot less scarier when we know what to expect! I’m a firm believer of community over competition and welcome newcomers to the field with such excitement!

During my 1:1 mentor calls, my mentees will have full access to me, my wisdom, knowledge, experience and my many resources. I will help you navigate who you are as a doula, where you want to be focusing your work and exploring your offerings. We will go over your cost of doing business and get your pricing to a place where not only your business is thriving, but you are, too! I’ll walk you through how to lock in a back up doula, connect with providers, meet other birth workers and find clients.

Figuring out marketing, pricing and the business side of things can feel daunting all while you’re also trying to lean into your new profession and spending long hours with your clients. Burn out in the doula world is so common. It happens for a variety of reasons, but more often than not it’s because we become over worked with little to no pay - but it doesn’t have to be! Just like our clients invest in providers, birth photographers and baby gear, they should invest in us, too! Charging your worth is scary, but with the right tools and guidance I can help you to achieve the business of your dreams.
